Seller Promotions - Gift With Purchase

You can create a Gift With Purchase (GWP) promotion, where if a customer buys one or more of your qualifying SKUs, they will receive a free Gift SKU provided by you.

Steps

  1. Create your Gift SKU
    Create the Gift SKU as per normal SKU creation process, and ensure the field Gift With Purchase is ticked. 

    Add the price as normal in Seller Center, we'll convert it to $0.00 on our side, customers won't be charged for this gift item they buy the eligible participating SKUs.



     

    If your SKU creation method is via CSV upload, the column name is 'Is Gift' , value should be 1.

    If your SKU creation method is via API, the attribute is "id": 379, "label": "Is Gift" , value should be true.

    Ensure the SKU has stock added. 

 

  1. Create your Gift With Purchase promotion
    Go to Promotions - Overview - Create Promotion - Cart Rule 


 

Enter the required fields :

  • Name: use naming convention: <Brand Name> : Gift With Purchase
  • Start / End Date: set the active period
  • Discount Type: select Gift With Purchase

  • Deal Minimum Criteria:
    Choose None if no minimum spending amount is required for the customer to qualify for the gift.
    Choose Minimum Spending and enter the dollar amount if you require customer to spend minimum amount to qualify for the free gift.

     

  1. Click Submit and Add Product. 

  • Add your participating SKU; if customers purchase these they will get the free gift. The system will prevent addition of SKUs that are already in another overlapping promotion period.

 

  • Add your gift SKU (the SKU that has been marked as Is Gift during creation process). Please ensure only gift SKU is added here, do not add normal selling SKU. Only one gift is allowed to be added. 



    Your Gift With Purchase promotion will then show as Pending status, subject to acknowledgment from THE ICONIC team. 

    Once it has been acknowledged, the status will update, and this is what our customers will see in our website.

    When the order goes into Seller Center, both the normal SKU and the gift SKU will be visible to you for fulfillment.
