The health, safety and wellbeing of consumers and our people is THE ICONIC’s number one priority. If a product is deemed a safety risk, it may need to be recalled. THE ICONIC may choose to voluntarily initiate a recall if we become aware that a product presents a safety risk. Suppliers must:
- Ensure all consumer goods supplied are safe and fit for purpose - please refer to THE ICONIC’s Supplier Trading Agreement (STA) for full details
- Ensure that batch numbers and supplier details are correct and provided for all products;
- Assess and (if necessary) rectify potential safety hazards presented by the products supplied;
- Immediately inform us in the event of a Product Recall;
- Agree to cooperate and assist THE ICONIC in the event of a product recall to stop the supply of a product in line with relevant Product Recall Guidelines issued by Regulators;
- Be readily contactable and available to liaise with THE ICONIC with matters relating to facilitating the return of recalled products, product disposition, consumer remedies and maintaining accurate records; and
- Bear any and all third party costs of a Product Recall initiated by the Supplier, including replacing or refunding the Price of the affected Product at our election.
In the event of a product recall, the affected products may be removed from THE ICONIC website if it is deemed necessary
