An EAN (European Article Number) is a unique barcode used to identify individual products globally. Each EAN is assigned to a specific product and helps with tracking, inventory, and sales processes. It is required that every individual product has its own unique EAN to avoid duplication and ensure accurate identification.
When creating a product or updating an EAN, follow these steps in your Seller Center profile:
- From the drop-down menu, select **Catalog**, then choose **All Products**.
- If you need to update the EAN for an existing product, use the search bar to find the product by name or SKU
- Click the three dots on the right side of the product listing.
Select **Edit Product** from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the **Pricing & Sizes** section.
- Click the three dots on the right side of the relevant size.
- Select **Edit the Size** to update the size information.
8. A pop-up will appear on the right, showing all available sizes for the product.
9. Locate the EAN field and enter the correct EAN in the blank section provided
10. Fill in the EAN section for each size
11. Select save and you will be given an update to verify your changes
Note: You will not be able to select save until all sizes have an EAN added
